Paragraph Revision

Descriptive Paragraph (Rough Draft)

The building itself is old and decrepit, with a tattered, collapsing, roof. It is relatively grandiose and towers over lush green meadows. The colour appears to be white, however with a rust-coloured tint to it in certain areas. The architecture is immaculate, although it appears to be a rambling old farmhouse since horses are surrounding it. The windows are aplenty, resembling archways with glass panes embedded. The trim on the windows is apparent on some, others not so much. The grass below is long and unkempt. The outdoor entrance is prominent and strong, it looks like it was the gateway for a family who comes and goes as they please for many generations.

Descriptive Paragraph (Revised)

A house is so well hidden in the depths of the serene farmlands, it must not have been discovered by many. Its symmetrical structure was of grandiose beauty-with two wings stretched across the center of the building, in hopes of reaching the shimmering summer sunlight. As the golden rays caressed the brick, a rusted white paint peeled from the entirety of the once lived in home-It stayed there with the memories of its birth, of the hugs and laughter that were once its colors. The detailed arched glass-pane windows and passageway gave off a certain elegance, one that could only be appreciated with a naked eye. The lush grass below stood strong like a soldier at war, protecting the building from newcomers and weather alike. A chestnut horse wonderfully positioned itself towards the right side of a slim deciduous tree. Spirited and composed, it must have thought it was home, for there was not a farmhouse in sight.
